Maintenance

We recommend emptying and cleaning the grease tray after each use. The grease tray should be handled when your griddle is cold.

Hot

You've just finished cooking and your griddle is still hot, so take the opportunity to clean it. Your cooking spatula and stainless steel ball are ideal tools for removing cooking residue.

Pour water directly onto your griddle and rub with your Boule Inox to release the excess into your grease tray. Use the spatula to handle the Boule Inox so as not to burn yourself.

Keep an eye on how full your grease tray is to avoid overflowing.

Rest assured, your griddle is covered with 2 layers of enamel and is therefore totally compatible with the use of the Inox Ball.

You can repeat the operation as often as necessary. You can re-light your griddle at any time if your cleaning is not as effective as you'd like.

Cold

Using your damp sponge, apply the Cleaning Stone directly to your Griddle using circular movements, or use Plancha-Net and leave to work. Rinse with a household sponge. You can repeat the operation as often as necessary.

Finish your cleaning with your Microfibre Square to restore the shine to your Plancha.

If your Plancha is not used for a long time, we recommend that you store it in a dry place away from bad weather.

FORGE ADOUR sells a range of protective accessories, so don't hesitate to ask your dealer for advice.

When using your griddle, a slight discolouration may appear on the inner baffles of your casing. This is normal and in no way affects the technical characteristics of your product.
