Gas connections in France

Butane/propane gas hoses come with different sized connectors, which are marked with different colours.

To avoid any risk of damage to the griddle connection, please refer to the instructions supplied by the hose manufacturer.

Connecting your griddle to category I3+ (butane/propane):

  • Use a pressure regulator with a safety rating of NF 28 m
  • Bar for butane and NF 37 mbar for propane.

The hose must be visible along its entire length and easily accessible. Comply with the instructions for use and safety (e.g. expiry date) given by the hose manufacturer.

The length of the flexible tube must not exceed 1.5 metres.

Each burner is fitted with a thermocouple safety device, which cuts off the gas supply to the burners if the flame goes out unexpectedly.

Screw the hose connector clockwise.

The hose must be connected in accordance with the hose manufacturer's instructions, and in compliance with the standards in force in the country concerned.

Your FORGE ADOUR plancha is configured to operate with butane/propane gas.

The type of gas to be used is indicated on the label on the side of your plancha.

Any type of maintenance work requiring the opening of the internal gas supply circuit must only be carried out by an authorised repairer.

Any attempt to dismantle or modify the appliance in order to change its technical characteristics may cause accidents for which the manufacturer declines all responsibility and voids the warranty.
